I am a Bangladeshi-American entrepreneur, former president of the Bangladesh Association of Georgia, as well as a founding member of the Darus Salam Masjid, cemetery, and funeral home serving the community in the metro-Atlanta area.
I also work in real estate working toward affordable/ equitable housing for working class citizens in my district. I am a long-time community volunteer leader for Gwinnett County as well, serving the community since 2004, and through my work, I've been named a "leader of immigrants". I am also a proud father and enjoy spending time with my daughter, family, and friends.

I have been serving our citizens for over a decade, standing by my people through both good times and tough times. Some of my volunteer work includes organizing free healthcare clinics, providing meals to mosques during Ramadan, providing food to families in need during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as supporting refugee families within the Atlanta area including Gwinnett, DeKalb, Cobb. and Fulton County.
I look forward to expanding the scope of my work as a community leader in public office and continue to be a figure the community can depend on through thick and thin.

As a local community figure, I hold a responsibility to speak up for minority communities in local policy and decision making by highlighting crucial issues including Black Lives Matter and Stop Asian Hate.
I work with municipal officials to promote issues important to my community including affordable housing, education, and public safety. I hope to expand my efforts by running for public office and making the voices of my community heard and amplifying the voices of underrepresented groups.

I have always been proud to represent my South Asian heritage by hosting large cultural events and programs with the goal of educating the public about diverse Asian cultures and identities, as well as uplifting the voices and experiences of immigrants and Asian Americans.
I am an ally of all cultures, faiths/religions, and I strive to extend this goal by giving a platform to all minority cultures and identities within our communities.
